Park Planning, Design and Construction Professional Learning Community

Thursday, June 28, 10am - 1pm

M-NCPPC - PRA

Please join us for our first PLC for those involved in the planning, design and construction of park and recreation facilities. This event will be a facilitated discussion of current hot topics including procurement methods, project management,  CIP development and cost estimation and any other relevant topics of interest to the group. Come learn how other jurisdictions are tackling the very same challenges that you are facing. As is all of our PLC meetings this is a free event to MRPA members but you do need to sign up. The event will be limited to 40 participants

Park Management Professional Learning Community

Wednesday, August 1st     1pm-3pm

Watkins Nature Center

 

Please join us for our first Turf Management Professional Learning Community meeting. You will have an opportunity to meet fellow professionals and tour the Paint Branch Turfgrass facility.  Geoff Rinehart (Lecturer and Turfgrass Management Advisor, University of Maryland Institute of Applied Agriculture) will present on seed variety, testing and selection. Group will discuss upcoming training opportunities and goals for the group.

Aquatics Professional Learning Community

Wednesday, August 19, 10am - 1pm

Fairland Aquatics Center

 

Please join us for our FALL Aquatics Professional Learning Community meeting. You will have an opportunity to meet other Aquatics professionals from around the state, discuss common issues and tour the Fairland Aquatic Center.
