MRPA thanks the Mary Jean & Oliver Travers Foundation, Inc. for their generous donation to this program.

The Foundation was established appoximately 40 years ago, funded modestly by the Schenuit Tire Company to help qualifying community events. Schenuit Tire was founded by Mary Jean's dad, Frank Schenuit. over the years, as other family members moved on and Schenuit Tire was sold, the name of the foundation was changed to the Mary Jean and Oliver Travers Foundation, Inc. In recent years, the family has continued to grow the foundation's assets and provide to their children a means to express philanthropy. The foundation has stayed true to its roots and continues, as it did over 40 years ago, to express the family's desire to help organizations with annual gifts. This gift will provide a quality educational opportunity for the Recreation University.
