Project Management Fundamentals  2 Day Course – Must attend both days

Wednesday, January 29 and Wednesday, February 5

8:30am – 4:30pm

Brookside Gardens Auditorium

 

Project Management is needed in park systems for planning, executing, monitoring and evaluation various types of efforts and activities including management of scope, time and costs.  Project leaders, facility managers, team supervisors, park police and other managers will benefit from understanding and using a project management framework to get their work done efficiently and effectively.

 

Program Objecties:

• Define project management terms and concepts.

• Describe how project management practices can help in the planning and management of projects and events.

• Demonstrate a framework to help organize projects from beginning to end.

• Apply a step-by-step process to plan and manage projects.

• Practice the development of several key project management artifacts through the full life cycle of a parks project.

 

Presenter: Charles S. Warner, PMP, ACC   He is a certified coach and project manager and proven instructor and facilitator with more than 25 years of experience in leadership, supervision, project management, training administration and instruction, and focus group facilitation. Excels at standing up new cross-functional offices and leading organizational change efforts. Highly regarded collaborator, communicator, team builder, and polished presenter.
