This 2-part interactive training focuses on ways to improve your camp programs.  Participants may register for one OR both sessions - Creating Your Camp Culture and Making Down-Time Fun-Time.

Creating Your Camp Culture

Every company has a camp culture, and according to Warren Buffett, “You cannot pay too much attention to company culture.” With the fast pace of camp life, we often ignore our culture as we focus on our strategy and execution. This hands-on, highly interactive session will explore the importance of your camp’s culture and how you can grow your culture (if you like it) or change and develop it (if you don’t like it).

Making Down-Time Fun-Time

How do you make every minute of the day a unique & special of the experience? This exciting & interactive session explores the different times in the day when staff can easily transition down-time into fun-time. We teach/play a variety of creative games, activities, songs, dances, and more. Attendees will vote live on the most important focus areas, then walk away learning a list of new activities and new ways to use known activities to keep our kids safe and happy while making every minute of the day exceptional.

Meal Information - Light breakfast will be served.  Lunch will provided for registrants registered for both sessions. Note:  If you require special accommodations or have special dietary needs, please contact Megan Gratz at mgratz@howardcountymd.gov or 410-313-4639 at least 14 days in advance so appropriate arrangements can be made.

WE STRIVE TO ALIGN ALL OF OUR TRAININGS WITH CAPRA STANDARDS.
