Parks are a place of beauty and tranquility for some; a place they go to be alone and explore nature.  For others, they are a busy place where they go to play or observe various sports and physical activities.  How do you manage the park to accommodate both people?  Why is maintenance important?  What does a typical day as a Park Manager look like?  Additionally, this training will address the topics of public perception, public safety, user conflict management, budgeting, issues facing the park manager today and in the future, and working with community groups.
